GARDUOTO – PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) tampak sangat bergairah dalam mengikuti GIIAS 2022. Buktinya, mereka meluncurkan enam model baru GR Sport sekaligus pada Kamis (11/8/2022).
Enam model baru Toyota GR Sport yang diluncurkan kemarin berasal dari berbagai jenis. Mulai dari LCGC, Hatchback, Crossover, SUV, Double Cabin, sampai Sport Car. Untuk detailnya, mobil-mobil tersebut adalah Agya, Yaris, Raize, Fortuner, Hilux, dan All New 86.
“Kami bersyukur hingga Juli 2022 kemarin, secara total sudah lebih dari 106.000 unit delapan line-up GR kami menjadi pilihan masyarakat, dimana rata-rata komposisi penjualan ritel tipe GR Sport mendominasi 67%.”
“Untuk itu, special di GIIAS kali ini kami tidak hanya menampilkan satu, namun enam model baru GAZOO Racing sekaligus untuk memberikan pilihan lengkap bagi pelanggan,” kata Anton Jimmi Suwandy, Marketing Director PT TAM, Kamis (11/8/2022).
Dari Enam Model Baru Toyota GR Sport yang diluncurkan kemarin, hanya Hilux dan All New 86 saja yang benar-benar baru. Empat model lainnya sudah lebih dulu hadir di Indonesia pada semester dua 2021 lalu.
Model GR Sport pada Hilux tampil lebih sporti dan beraura balap ketimbang standarnya. Ditandai dengan GR alloy wheel serta GR Sport bar di bagian belakang.
Sementara di kabinnya, terdapat head unit berukuran delapan inci serta GR sport seat dan penambahan paddle shift membuat yang membuat rasa berkendaranya jadi makin sporti.
Double Cabin Toyota ini dibekali dengan mesin 1GD dengan tenaga yang 37% lebih besar, serta suspensi yang lebih rigid. Lebih dari itu, Toyota Hilux GR Sport juga dilengkapi dengan teknologi Toyota Safety Sense (TSS).
Sedangkan All New GR86 adalah model sports car GR global ketiga bersama GR Supra dan GR Yaris. All New GR86 juga merupakan mobil yang langsung ditangani dan dikembangkan oleh TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR).
Mesin baru pada All New GR86 memiliki kapasitas sebesar 2.400 cc masih dengan tipe boxer untuk mempertahankan Center of Gravity yang rendah.
Sehingga, dengan rasio kompresi yang sama yaitu 12,5:1, tenaga yang dihasilkan menjadi lebih tinggi, dimana output maksimum meningkat 14%, dari 205 dk pada 7.000 rpm menjadi 233 dk pada 7.000 rpm.
