VROSSI masuk dalam naungan Batavia Alumindo Industri pabriknya berlokasi di Kawasan Industri Balaraja dan Cikupa.
Setelah berjalan selama 4 tahun, akhirnya pada tahun 1996 akhirnya diputuskan membuat velg almunium untuk sepedamotor.
“Sejak tahun 96 sampai sekarang kami terus melakukan berbagai inovasi dan juga memperbaiki standar dari velg tersebut sampai sekarang ini sudah hampir 22 tahun, jadi kalau masalah kualitas biarkan waktu yang membuktikan,” tegas Imin Brata Owner Velg VRossi saat ditemui di Kebun Jeruk, Jakarta Barat, Sabtu (3/2).
Di pabrik Cikupa terbagi menjadi dua untuk produksinya, yang satu untuk memproduksi velg jari-jari dan yang pabrik kedua adalah mencetak velg cetak (casting whell).
Pabrik ini sendiri memproduksi untuk kebutuhan dalam negeri dengan mempekerjakan 500 orang pekerja.
“Tahun 2017 lalu kami berhasil menjual velg VRossi menjual kurang lebih sebanyak 1 juta unit dari berbagai tipe di seluruh Indonesia,” terang Imin.
Imin menambahkan sangat mengharapkan dukungan dari seluruh pihak termasuk media, karena VRossi ini adalah murni buatan anak-anak bangsa yang perlu terus disupport untuk menjadi lebih baik lagi.
